Mia Thompson & Lili Pew

About the Team

mia groupNEWMia Thompson and Lili Pew joined forces as a professional real estate team in 2007, and have since forged a solid business relationship, successfully representing both buyers and sellers. As a team with more than 38 years combined experience, they have consistently been top producers in the Mount Desert Island area and have served a wide range of national and international clientele. In the past two years Mia and Lili closed over $36 million in sales, leading all other agents and teams in the area by nearly $10 million.

Team Philosophy

Selling real estate on Mount Desert Island carries more responsibility than a simple business deal. Each property, each house or parcel of land represents a family legacy. Almost every place, every structure, holds stories of how the residence came into being and how it has evolved over decades and often centuries.

As committed real estate professionals, we research properties thoroughly and listen carefully to the families we represent. We personally identify with the importance of family legacy, and how a property evolves over time. We want to tell these stories, as well as help build new chapters of family legacy on each singular property we represent.

We take great pride in using the best marketing practices and resources to share the distinctive story of a property, and in doing so, pair the property with a buyer who is best suited for managing a legacy ownership.

Mia Thompson and Lili Pew worked very hard to sell our home in Northeast Harbor, ME. It was a difficult job considering the slow economy and the slow real estate market for that area. Nonetheless, they pulled it off, got a decent offer on the house, dealt with the buyer's multiple concerns and the actual sale went through without a glitch. We recommend them.

Trying to buy a house is never easy, but it’s especially more difficult when you’re 3,000 miles away. Thankfully we had the team of Mia Thompson and Lili Pew of The Knowles Company to help us with the task. From coordinating inspections to our final video walk through, Mia and Lili were our eyes and ears on the ground throughout the home buying process. They were prompt to respond to our questions and thoroughly explained issues to help alleviate any concerns we had. We are very pleased with the outcome as we love our new home and would highly recommend their services.

This past year, Mia Thompson / The Knowles Company represented my husband and me in the purchase of a wonderful house in Southwest Harbor. We found Mia to be a person of high integrity, sound judgment, and vast knowledge about all matters relevant to our needs (home infrastructure, the local market, contractors, etc.). She was especially astute in handling negotiations around purchase price: fair to both buyer and seller, and sensitive to both the realistic concerns and the feelings of all involved. We are also grateful to Mia’s partner, Lili Pew, who covered ably for Mia at our closing – and who also turned out to be a great source of helpful advice about local service providers.
