About this area:
Bar Harbor's village and surrounding rural residential areas are a popular destination for visitors to Acadia National Park. The town center offers diverse shops, restaurants and activities. Acadia National Park's Hulls Cove entrance, as well as other major entrances, are located just outside the village center. Not all properties listed as 'Bar Harbor' are actually in the village of Bar Harbor, since the town of Bar Harbor encompasses the northern half of Mt. Desert Island, most of which is quite rural in nature. However, homes within this area are usually between five and fifteen minutes' drive to the village center.

Length of stay: Weekly preferred, but 4 night minimums may be considered if dates are still available as summer approaches.
Pet Fee: $140 for up to two dogs. Published rates assume four people or less. For an additional $100, a 5th person will be considered with the understanding that tenant will need to provide their own air mattress or other sleeping arrangements.
Additional Cleaning Fee: $75
Pets considered for an additional fee of $140 per pet, per week.
This house follows a Relaxed Cancelation Policy: 100% refund if canceled 90 or more days before occupancy, 50% refund if canceled between 45 and 90 days before occupancy, no refund unless re-booked if canceled less than 45 days before occupancy.
