About this area:

Bar Harbor's village is a popular destination for visitors to Acadia National Park. The town center offers diverse shops, restaurants and activities. Acadia National Park's Hulls Cove entrance, as well as other major entrances, are located just outside the village center. Not all properties listed as 'Bar Harbor' are actually in the village of Bar Harbor, since the town of Bar Harbor encompasses the northern half of Mt. Desert Island, most of which is quite rural in nature.

Family Gathering

Perfect location for our gathering, easy access to all nearby attractions when and if you choose to go. The property is large and on the beautiful Somes Sound....Coffee on the dock in the early morning and you will see seals, birds and other wildlife, same at sunset. The "Cottage" is large with plenty of open space for all to enjoy time together or split off for other activities. The cottage had everything that we needed, a bit rustic, but that was part of the charm!!! It felt like a real "home"... So comfortable for our family. We made beautiful memories and would go back there again...

The Magnolia cottage was perfect for our family of 8 adults & 4 children. Plenty of room in the house & the property was beautiful & spacious. We loved walking down the path to the dock thru the gardens & trees. The view is spectacular. The grandkids loved the yard & all the space. The house had so many rooms, cozy but spacious, that we never felt crowded. We had a great lobster dinner (picked up fresh from Trenton bridge lobster pound) there in the house. We used the table in the sunroom with 2 card tables there in the house with plenty of chairs. We ate there almost every night. It was perfect!
