PORCH: In the Main House only, sliders across the front of the home access the front terrace and lawn. Guest House offers outdoor furnishings on a grassy front yard overlooking the water.
EXTRAS: Shared use of shore path, swimming pool, dock and tennis court.
NOTE: Swimming Pool is not suitable for very young children without close adult supervision, as it is not fenced. Internet is in Main House only.
About this area:
The 'quiet side' of Mt. Desert Island, which includes Bass Harbor, Tremont, Seal Cove, and Bernard on the southern and western sides of the island, is much more rural in nature and only about twenty to thirty minutes to major park entrances. What Bass Harbor lacks in shopping, it makes up for in seafood restaurants and local color, as this is a village with a true 'Down East' flavor, as well as the famous Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse.

Rates include the cost of normal departure cleaning.
Pets considered for an additional fee of $100 per pet, per week.
