Mount Desert Island is home to several golf venues that offer stunning landscapes and unique challenges for golfers of all skill levels. Here are some of the notable golf courses on the island:

Kebo Valley Golf Club: Established in 1888, Kebo Valley is one of the oldest golf courses in the United States. It features a picturesque 18-hole course nestled in the scenic Acadia National Park region, providing players with beautiful views and a challenging layout that includes both elevation changes and natural obstacles.

Northeast Harbor Golf Club: This exclusive private club offers a traditional New England golfing experience with an eighteen-hole course that blends charming holes with natural beauty. The course is known for its well-maintained fairways and greens, as well as breathtaking coastal views. It is open to the public from May through June, and again in September and October.

Causeway Club: Located in Southwest Harbor, this historic nine-hole course is set in a serene, wooded environment. Established in 1890, the Causeway Club provides a relaxed atmosphere and is often noted for its charming landscape and welcoming community. The Causeway is open to the public through the summer season.
