Emily Anne  Pepper

Emily Anne Pepper joined the board of The Knowles Company in 2024 and became a minority owner in 2025, deepening her investment in the company’s future. While her professional career is in healthcare, she is committed to supporting The Knowles Company’s long-standing reputation for excellence and its role in the community. Her connection to the business is also personal—her father-in-law, Keating Pepper, was a longtime owner, and she is proud to help carry forward its legacy of family ownership.

Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Emily Anne met her husband, Mount Desert Island native Sargeant Pepper, at the College of Charleston, where she earned degrees in Corporate Communications and Spanish. She currently works in the Emergency Department of MDI Hospital as a Registered Nurse, having returned to school to earn a Nursing degree from the Massachusetts General Institute of Health Professions. She is instrumental in building a SAFE program for the hospital and the broader community, furthering her dedication to public health and advocacy.

Emily Anne has a love for adventure. She has lived and traveled throughout five of the seven continents and enjoys sharing that passion with her two boys, George (4) and Leo (2). She has called Maine home since 2016 and treasures life on an island that experiences all four seasons, with a national park right in its backyard.”
