Susan Ferrante-Collier

Susan has been with The Knowles Company since 1993, initially working as a rental agent and then moving to real estate sales in 1998. Her three decades of experience with MDI rentals and sales make Susan a highly knowledgeable, capable, trusted and highly sought after broker. Since her transition to sales, Susan has been a consistent top producer for the company representing many notable clients and significant properties that have been highlighted in many publications, though for Susan, real estate is all about that moment when her client and she have located the perfect property her client is seeking. Through a combination of perseverance, patience, and market connections, she is able to find the ideal home or property for her buying clients and the right buyers for her selling clients. It is the successful culmination of this process that she finds most challenging and rewarding.

Susan makes her home on MDI with her husband John, a native of Bar Harbor and president of AB & JR Hodgkins, a three-generation building contractor business. They take advantage of the abundant outdoor activities available on the Island, and during the winter months they enjoy skiing at Sugarloaf Mountain or traveling, mostly to their beloved Italy to ski. When she is not busy with her real estate clients, Susan enjoys donating her time to Friends of Acadia, The Community School, and other non-profits that speak to her.
