Beds: 3 Queens, 1 Double
As the name suggests, this adorable, 3-bedroom home with 1-bedroom guest cottage enjoys a “Beautiful View.” Whether you’re stealing a quiet moment alone or sharing time with friends, you’re sure to enjoy the lovely water and mountain views this home offers from its 3-sided wrap around porch. With a natural, undeveloped meadow across the road, you can relax at home in quiet surroundings with an unobstructed view of passing sailboats and lobster boats, the Cranberry Isles, Western Way passage, and mountains of Mt. Desert Island before you. And when you’re ready to venture out, just walk across the road and down a country lane known as The Cable Crossing Road to reach the Manset Shore and a wonderful cobblestone beach. From there you can launch the canoe that comes with the house, or your own kayak (life vests provided), comb for sea glass, or sit lazily by the water. All of this combined with a spacious setting and thoughtful renovations will surely lead you back again for years to come.
