With wonderful views of the Porcupine Islands and access trails to a small sandy beach, this house offers a very secluded shorefront setting and is 1.5 miles from Bar Harbor’s village center, a short drive to park entrances, and numerous other activities in and around the Island. Although the lower half of a home, your privacy is assured as the second level would remain unoccupied during your stay.

FIRST FLOOR: Sunroom entrance with short steps leads to a Kitchen with counter seating overlooking the Living Room with fireplace and sliders to sunporch overlooking the water. The the right, a Bedroom with King bed and Bedroom with Single Trundle bed share a “Jack and Jill” Full Bath with combined tub and shower between them (not pictured). To the left of the living area is a Bedroom with Queen bed and Full Bath with tub and shower. Large porch with wicker furnishings and dining table is adjacent to a furnished screen porch, also with views of the water. Laundry is located in the entry way.

APARTMENT SUITE: Accessed from the entry way, an additional suite features a Living Area with Kitchenette that includes a breakfast station and mini-fridge, plus door to a private screened porch. Bedroom with Queen Bed, Bedroom with Twin Beds, and shared Full Bath with shower stall.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Enclosed Sun Room/Deck with dining table and amazing views of the Porcupine Islands, Ogden Point, and Frenchman’s Bay. Woods and granite outcroppings surround the property. Although there is technically access to the shore from the property, the path is steep and difficult. However, by walking back down the driveway, one can see the trailhead to Compass Harbor for a nice walk to the shore. 

NOTE: The third floor features a private residence that is not available for tenant use, but would not be occupied by the homeowners.
