This wonderful home offers a gracious and comfortable stay on the shores of Somes Sound, just a short drive from Northeast Harbor’s village center. Graciously and thoughtfully decorated with whimsical touches throughout, Evergreen offers visitors a warm and inviting space for enjoying your Mt. Desert Island stay. Golf, hiking, and biking the carriage trails are just around the corner! Or relax on the front terrace to calls of osprey, gulls, and loons!

FIRST FLOOR: Step into a lovely foyer that opens to a stunning Living Room with cathedral ceiling, fireplace, and floor to ceiling windows open to the view. To the left is a primary bedroom with King Bed, water views, and en suite Full Bath with walk-in shower. To the right of the Living Room is a semi-formal Dining Room with table that seats four to eight comfortably. French doors open to the side covered terrace for outdoor dining. Just beyond is a well-equipped Kitchen, pantry, mudroom, and laundry area. Further still is a short hall that leads to a shared Full Bath with combined tub and shower, followed by a comfortable Bedroom with Queen Bed and water views.

SECOND FLOOR: Stairs in the center hallway lead to a roomy Den/Office with TV, comfortable seating, and desk space for work, all with water views. A catwalk leads to a third Bedroom with Twin Beds a shared Full Bath with combined tub and shower. Note that the railing on the stairs and catwalk may not be safe for very young children or those difficulty with walking.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Surrounded by natural landscaping, lawn, and towering pines and firs beyond, the house enjoys plenty of lawn and yard space for relaxing and play. Accessed by sliding doors in the Living Room, the front furnished terrace with propane grill is a comfortable spot to enjoy the boating activity on Somes Sound or relax to the call of ospreys, gulls, and loons!
