We loved our stay at Gowen Cottage! The home was clean, convenient to town and on a nice quiet street. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, this is a great house to choose!

Northeast Harbor has the advantage of being quite close to Acadia National Park’s Stanley Brook entrance, not to mention the appeal of the grand, historic summer cottage estates, some of which date to the turn of the century. Northeast Harbor offers high end shopping plus some dining opportunities and boasts an active library, community center, public tennis courts and golf course, and a premier marina.
