Stay close to home with a very short stroll down to Beal’s Lobster Pound for fresh seafood and a classic Maine dockside experience or venture just a short distance further to explore Acadia National Park and the many scenic vistas it offers. Trailheads such as Flying Mountain, St. Sauveur, Beech Hill Mountain, Ship’s Harbor and Wonderland are just minutes away by car or free shuttle and each destination will reward you in its own special way. Launch a kayak from the shore, take in the sights and sounds of the village, tour the Park and then settle right back in to relax and enjoy all that Harbor Haven has to offer!
FIRST FLOOR: With a comfortable Sitting Area and gas fireplace and television, you’ll feel immediately at home when you step into the entryway of this lovely cottage with its hardwood floors, natural pine beams and cathedral ceilings. Those who enjoy cooking will do so with intimate harbor views, barstools at the picture window, and easy access outside to the shore. With a wall of crystal clear windows, enjoy the same wonderful views and boating activity from the Dining Area with seating for six. The cozy Living Room with gas fireplace, windows from which to enjoy the views, engaging in conversation, or becoming absorbed in good read. Also on this first level, the Primary Bedroom offers a King bed and en-suite Bathroom with shower.
SECOND FLOOR: Stairs leading to a spacious and mostly enclosed loft offers a very comfortable guest space with Queen bed, study area and private Bathroom with shower.
OUTDOOR SPACES: Begin and end your day sitting outdoors on a grassy knoll at the water’s edge in comfortable Adirondack chairs. Sip morning coffee or a late afternoon cocktail while watching boats in the harbor come and go.
