A renovated barn with the charm of the past provides an excellent spot for your gathering. Southwest Harbor’s village center is approximately 15 minutes’ drive from this location. Bar Harbor and Acadia’s popular east side attractions are between 30 and 40 minutes’ drive, and Acadia’s “quiet side” trails are from 10 to 20 minutes away! Shared use of shore path, dock, and tennis court are also included, making this property a truly delightful destination!

HARRIS BARN: From the entry, a magnificent Living Room features a high, timber-framed vaulted ceiling, fabulous granite fireplace and wonderful views. Off a short hall way leading to the northern end of the house, is a Bedroom with Double, Bedroom with Twin, and half bath. A second breezeway features an extensive Laundry area with two washer/dryer sets, and access to private outdoor shower. Just beyond is a Large country kitchen with table that seats six to eight, second refrigerator, and two dishwashers. Charming rustic Dining Room offers views of the water, fireplace, table that seats up to ten, and sliders to front deck. Off the kitchen is a small Sitting Room. To the left of the living room at the opposite end of the house, a renovated wing features two Bedrooms, each with Twin Beds, which share a Full Bath with combined tub and shower. Primary Bedroom Queen bed offers an en suite full Bath with combined tub and shower, and sliding doors to water side deck.

IGLOO: Situated immediately next door to Harris Barn, The Igloo’s entry leads to a Dining Room with table that seats six to eight. To the right is the Kitchen with water views. Just off the entry, a hall with Laundry area leads to two Bedrooms, each with Twin Beds. These bedrooms share a Full Bath with tub and shower. To the left of the Dining Area, a bright and sunny Living Area leads to the Primary Bedroom with Queen bed and private Full Bath with tub.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Decks across the fronts of both houses overlook expansive fields and lawn surrounding and extending to a cobblestone/shale shoreline.
