FIRST FLOOR: To the left of the entry, a stunning Kitchen with center island, updated appliances, counter seating for two, custom cabinetry, and showcase granite counter tops is well-outfitted for the discriminating chef. And note, new to us, in addition to the standard oven with the cooking range, this home features a multi-purpose wall oven that doubles as a microwave! Just beyond the Kitchen, a sun-filled Dining Room overlooks the water and features a table to seat eight to ten comfortably. A small Office and a Full Bath with combined Tub and Shower are also located adjacent to the kitchen. Sliding doors lead to the front deck. The entry hall leads to an open concept L-shaped Living Room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the water. One end of the living area serves for watching tv, while the other end serves for conversation and enjoying the view. Just to the right of the front entry is your own personal spa space with sauna and Peleton exercise bike.
SECOND FLOOR: Primary Bedroom with Palladian window overlooking the water features a King bed and black out shades for those who want to sleep in. Two Bedrooms, each with a Queen Bed. (The photos of the third bedroom display a double bed, which will be replaced with a Queen prior to the summer of 2026.) A Full Bath with walk-in shower with multiple shower heads and a washer/dryer are also located here.
OUTDOOR SPACES: Expansive, furnished deck overlooking lawn and water features ample space for play as well as a cozy fire pit for evenings of star gazing. While easily accessible, waterfront is a mix of rocks and sand, and drains at low tide. Unlike other “mud flat” areas in the south, there is not an unpleasant odor associated with this shoreline at low tide.

The ‘quiet side’ of Mt. Desert Island, which includes Bass Harbor, Tremont, Seal Cove, and Bernard on the southern and western sides of the island, is much more rural in nature and only about twenty to thirty minutes to major park entrances. What Bass Harbor lacks in shopping, it makes up for in seafood restaurants and local color, as this is a village with a true ‘Down East’ flavor, as well as the famous Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse.
