With one-level convenience and plenty of sleeping areas, this home offers a great spot for your summer stay, close to Acadia National Park’s popular Seawall sites, “Quiet Side” trails, and Southwest Harbor’s vibrant village center.
FIRST FLOOR: Front entry offers immediate views out to the open ocean through sliders that lead to the front deck. To the right, a large Living Room with cathedral ceiling, floor to ceiling windows, showcase fireplace, and plenty of comfortable seating creates a warm and lovely gathering space. In one corner, a circlular table is perfect for puzzles, games, or dining for up to 6 people. Adjoining the Living Room, a full-service gourmet style Kitchen with center island and high-end appliances, is fully stocked to make meal prep a breeze. An informal Kitchen dining table seats 8 to 10 comfortably. Just beyond the Kitchen is a well-organized pantry and Half Bath that leads to a Primary Bedroom with King Bed, water views, and en suite Full Bath with separate tub and shower.
To the left of the front entry is a Bedroom with Queen bed and water views and Bedroom with Twin Beds. These two Bedrooms share a Full Bath with separate tub and shower (not pictured).
LOWER LEVEL: (Not pictured) Stairs to the lower level lead to a large bunkroom suitable for kids with four single beds. Note that there is no bath on this level and no door on the bedroom for safety reasons. Although situated in the lower level, this room does not at all feel dank or unpleasant for sleeping.
HONEYMOON SUITE: Connected via a breezeway to the Main House, for an additional fee, the “Honeymoon Suite” is a second story additional living and sleeping space with Queen Bed, Full Bath with separate tub and shower, and sitting area.
OUTDOOR SPACES: Lovely deck with plenty of furnishings across the front the house embrace the fantastic water views. Nicely landscaped lawn surrounds the house, with easy access to the shore for launching kayaks. Note that the dock and pier, visible in some photos and on google satellite view, is in disrepair and not available for tenant use.
