Situated just above the water, this adorable little cottage provides a relaxing and cozy atmosphere sure to please. With an open layout and large water facing French glass doors, you’ll find this cottage offers a light-filled living space for up to four people comfortably. A crushed pink granite stone patio with plenty of furnishings provides a nice spot from which to enjoy wonderful water and mountain views.

FIRST FLOOR: Small but tidy and well-equipped Kitchen. Open Dining and Living area with fireplace and a table that seats four comfortably. Primary Bedroom with King bed and separate door with private entry and water views. Guest Bedroom with Twin beds. Full Bath with shower only.

PATIO: Crushed stone and great water views.

NOTE: Access down the bluff to the water is not recommended, but you’re sure to enjoy the views and the warm afternoon sun from the west facing patio.

This house follows a Standard Cancelation Policy: No refund unless house is re-booked. Commission and booking fee are non-refundable. Ask Agent for details.

All houses are fully equipped, including linens and dishes. Refundable security deposit, 9% Maine State Sales Tax and a $35 booking fee are not included in the rates above. Prices and availability are for the current season and are subject to change.

We are totally in love with Lukens Cottage! It’s cozy and comfortable, and its well lived-in, well-loved vibe makes us feel very at home. We love its simplicity, not to mention the huge windows, wonderful water view and great location. We’ve been enjoying every minute here and will hate to leave! I hope you will convey our enthusiasm and appreciation to the owner. We feel like we lucked into a little gem and could not be happier with it. We will certainly be in touch next time we’re making plans to visit MDI.

Northeast Harbor has the advantage of being quite close to Acadia National Park’s Stanley Brook entrance, not to mention the appeal of the grand, historic summer cottage estates, some of which date to the turn of the century. Northeast Harbor offers high end shopping plus some dining opportunities and boasts an active library, community center, public tennis courts and golf course, and a premier marina.
