Situated on a private compound fondly referred to as “Boss Camp,” this exceptional cottage offers a unique opportunity to experience an exceptionally designed home that combines comfort and beauty for a truly relaxing stay. Surrounded on three sides by water, boasting both sunrise and sunset views, and with shared access to the private nearby dock, North Cottage at Boss Camp is a rare offering. Only 15 minutes to Southwest Harbor, 30 minutes to Bar Harbor, and easy access to Acadia National Park’s western trails, your adventure awaits! Heated and cooled with a specialized geo-thermal system that provides continuously perfect air, North Cottage is one of the most calming spaces we’ve come across.

FIRST FLOOR: Lovely entry leads to an open Living/Dining/Kitchen space with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows embracing views of Mt. Desert Narrows and Bartlett’s Island to the west and Squid Cove to the east. Comfortable seating and wall-mounted TV (not shown in photos), dining table that seats eight comfortable (current table displayed in photos will be replaced). Updated, well-equipped Kitchen with counter seating for three. A small breezeway leads to an amazing studio/office space with tunnel vaulting and lovely views to the water. A coffee table that converts to a lifted desk is perfect for those needing to stay in touch with the rest of the world, for better or worse. Not pictured, a sleeper sofa will be in place for 2027 to offer flexible sleeping. A half bath is also located on the first floor.

SECOND FLOOR: A floating staircase leads to a Primary Bedroom with King Bed and en suite Full Bath with double vanity and walk-in glass shower. Guest Bedroom with Queen Bed and en suite Full Bath with combined tub and shower. Full-sized laundry is also located on the second floor.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Accessed by a sliding door from the Living Room, a stone terraced patio provides outdoor space for relaxing and dining. Threaded with walking paths and featuring natural landscaping throughout, the extensive grounds provide multiple spaces to wander, rest, and renew yourself in this truly peaceful space. Close by, a shared dock is able to keep a small outboard, launch a kayak, or enjoy a private swim. Tenants also will have access to the impressive boathouse for kayak storage or bike storage.
