Situated in the heart of Northeast Harbor’s charming village, this sweet cottage offers convenience to the marina as well as Main Street, all while preserving a nice sense of privacy. With a delightful mix of updated furnishings and tasteful antiques, the interior spaces are attractive and comfortable for up to six people! Your favorite Northeast Harbor restaurants and shops are just a stone’s throw away, as well as the dynamic waterfront of the marina at the bottom of the hill. Public tennis and pickle ball courts, the Island Explorer free shuttle, and passenger ferries to the outer islands are all within easy reach from this conveniently located home!

FIRST FLOOR: Stairs from the driveway lead to the side entry into a bright, roomy Kitchen with updated appliances, plenty of cookware, and counter seating for four people. A Half Bath is also located next to the Kitchen. Adjacent to the Kitchen and facing the spacious backyard is a lovely “Garden Room,” with three walls of windows and a sliding door to a small deck. At the street side of the house is a cozy Den with TV. A formal but comfortable Living Room, plus a semi-formal Dining Room with table that seats six rounds out the first floor.

SECOND FLOOR: Stairs from the Living Room lead to three bedrooms and two full baths. Bedroom 1 features a King Bed. Bedroom 2 offers a Double Bed. These two bedrooms share a Full Bath with walk-through Laundry area and walk-in shower stall. Bedroom 3 has Twin Beds. Situated at the end of the hall is a sweet nook with desk that leads to a Full Bath with combined tub and shower.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Accessed from the Kitchen or from the Living Room, a wrap-around covered porch provides ample sitting and dining areas overlooking the front and side yards. A smaller deck, accessed by sliders from the Garden Room, accommodates a propane grill and overlooks the roomy backyard, safe for play and private in feel. Off-street parking for up to three cars. Note that this road is relatively quiet, but will have pedestrian traffic during the day. While the town office and fire station are across the road, this part of town is generally considered very quiet at night.
