Desert Island’s best private stone and salt water beaches, just a few minute’s walk away. An interesting note: Sunnymead was the inspiration and setting for the Judy Blume book, “Fudge-a-mania.”

FIRST FLOOR: Kitchen with all major appliances. Dishwasher is portable. Full Bath with shower off kitchen. Dining Room. Living Room and Den with comfortable seating area. Walk-though Bedroom with Double bed that leads to north set of stairs to second floor Primary Bedroom area.

SECOND FLOOR: In one wing: Primary Suite with Queen size bed, full bath and sitting/office area with private balcony. The other wing of the house, accessed by stairs from the Living Area, includes Bedroom with Double bed, Bedroom with King size bed, and Bedroom with Double bed. Full bath with large tub and separate shower.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Lovely yard with outdoor furnishings to include a lovely dining tent. A picnic table down at the beach is also a nice feature.

EXTRAS: Right-of-way to a private cobblestone beach with beautiful views of the outer islands and the mountains of Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island. Take a short leisurely stroll from the house to enjoy beach combing for seaglass and watching the boating activity through Western Way as they venture between Southwest Harbor, Northeast Harbor and the Cranberry Isles.
