Woods just beyond the property screen you from neighbors and are home to plenty of birds and other wildlife! Ellsworth’s shops, restaurants and lobster pounds are just down the road, and Bar Harbor’s village center and Acadia National Park’s trails and entrances are between 20 and 30 minutes away. However, with the water right at your doorstep, not to mention complete privacy, you may be perfectly content to stay put and relax!

A fantastic walk-through closet leads to the en suite Full Bath with custom glass walled shower, soaking tub, and double vanity. A laundry area and mudroom just beyond are perfect “drop zones” for outdoor gear, hiking boots, and totes. Bedroom 2, suitable for children, features Twin Beds, a mini-split heat/AC unit, and blackout shades for restful sleeping.
At the other end of the house, is an additional living/play area with cozy seating and TV. Known as the ‘Gateway to Acadia,’ Trenton, Lamoine, Prospect Harbor and other mainland communities enjoy proximity to Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park, with access to the expansive Union River Bay and Mt. Desert Narrows. Appreciated for being away from the crowds, this area is home to several local lobster pounds and close to Ellsworth dining. Many homes in this area enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Desert’s peaks, and swimming is generally warmer in the bay waters. Lamoine’s public sandy beach, Trenton Community Trails, Wild Acadia Fun Park, and the Stanwood Bird Sanctuary are just a few of its many attractions!
Our family had a fantastic time at Sunset Seascape. It was our first time to the area and it was a great location. We loved the home’s modern and contemporary styling and the views of the bay were amazing. We’re already talking about coming back next year. Thank you!
