Step into the pastoral beauty of this lovely turn-of-the-century farmhouse, situated in a meadow of lupines with a pretty shore just a short walk away. “Watch Hill” offers a charming, vintage setting without compromising comfort! Although many of the furnishings recall a bygone era, all new mattresses, updated baths and kitchen, and wi-fi throughout the house ensure that your stay will be comfortable. A footpath across the meadow and through the woods leads you to a shared shoreline and shale beach, appropriate for launching a kayak, taking a brisk swim, or exploring the shore for seaglass and treasures!

FIRST FLOOR: Entry leads from a spacious deck to Living Room with cozy sitting areas and a piano. To the left, a large Primary Bedroom with King Bed and en suite Full Bath with tub and shower stall. A half bath is conveniently located off the Living Room as well. To the right of the entry, a short hall leads to the Kitchen with new electric stove, and table that seats 4. Adjoining the Kitchen is a charming Dining Room with fireplace and table that comfortably seats four, six in a pinch. Just beyond is a utility/storage room with washer and dryer, plus an extra refrigerator.

SECOND FLOOR: Accessed by a narrow winding staircase, the second floor features a Bedroom with twin beds tucked under the eaves, a shared Full Bath with combined tub and shower, and a spacious Bedroom with Twin Beds.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Accessed from the front entry or from sliders in the Kitchen, a wide, furnished deck offers views across a flowering lupine meadow with mature woods beyond. Don’t be surprised to see deer wandering through from time to time! Trail leads across the meadow and across Bunchberry Lane to a shale and shingle beach, shared by six other neighboring households, but otherwise very private in feel.
