Follow a long gravel drive to this adorable lakeside cottage situated on 12 private acres with stunning southerly views to Beech, Mansell, and Western Mountains in Acadia National Park. Many recent updates to this home create an inviting, sun-filled space that definitely belies the traditional notion of “camp.” Semi-detached Guest Cottage creates a separate space for up to two additional guests during your off-season stay. Step just a few feet down the path to a sun-drenched deck at water’s edge to launch a kayak (not provided) or enjoy a refreshing swim!

FIRST FLOOR: Entry from the parking area opens to a hall with Primary Bedroom on the right with Queen Bed and views to water. On the left, an updated Full Bath with fantastic walk-in tiled shower. Hall then opens onto a lovely, combined Living/Kitchen/Dining room with amazing views of the water and mountains beyond. Kitchen is compact but fully functional, and features a dishwasher, fridge, and standard size range and oven. Living Room features comfortable seating and TV. Dining table seats four for indoor dining on inclement days, but you’ll want to step through the doors where you can dine on the deck for the full lake experience! Just around the corner is another outdoor dining space in the shelter of a screened hut with two circular picnic tables for entertaining. A few steps down the bank is a ramp and float for relaxing, boating or a brisk swim.

GUEST HOUSE: With exterior stair access just behind the Main House, the semi-attached Guest Cottage Windiana II is a self-contained space for up to two people. Living and Sleeping Space with Queen Bed, comfortable seating, compact breakfast bar with small countertop two-burner electric cooktop, microwave, and fridge. Sliding doors lead to a wrap-around deck with furnishings overlooking the pond. Full Bath with shower stall. Note that a ladder leads to a loft with twin mattresses, but this is not a sleeping space available for Tenant use.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Featured in both the main house and guest house, decks offer lake views and comfortable seating and dining spaces. Towering pines, granite outcroppings, and sparse woods surround the property. A neighboring residence, Windiana III, is set behind this property and will be occupied by other tenants, but sufficient distance and orientation ensures privacy.
